Multi-device beta is an early access use of WhatsApp update. In this update, any person wants to link WhatsApp in multiple platforms like desktop, web and portal without using a mobile phone.

Step 2: Click on 3 dots (upper right side)

Step 3: Click on the link device

Step 4: Tap to join the beta

How to leave WhatsApp beta for android & IOS

Step 1: Open WhatsApp app

If you are joining the multi-device beta version so you can access multiple 4 devices at one time but you will connect one device at a one time.

If you don’t use your phone for 14 days your linked account should be disconnected.

Unsupported features for multi-device beta WhatsApp 

The below feature currently stop in the beta version

  • View live location on the companion device
  • Pin chat on desktop and WhatsApp web
  • Message and call was not working if the second person doesn’t use updated version or not using their phone
  • Join view and group invite from WhatsApp web and desktop. You’ll need to your smartphone
  • WhatsApp business account owner can’t edit their name from WhatsApp web and desktop
